Our Ethical Practices
At Bryden, we are committed to ethical fair trade practices to prevent exploitation of workers or natural resources
in the manufacturing of clothing.
We personally believe that happy workers equate to better made clothes as workers are more motivated to do a good job if they work with good employment practices and in a safe conducive working environment.
Factories & Working Conditions
Our partner’s factories are all personally audited by our Singapore team on the ground and we work with factories who do not employ workers under 16 years and provide at least minimum living wages as the basic pay on a timely basis.
Our factories do not have forced labor practices, which means that no one is forced to work overtime against their wishes and if they do work overtime, there is an extra overtime pay allowance.
The manufacturing facilities are equipped with proper lighting & sanitation facilities and the working conditions and equipment are safe as possible to prevent work-related injuries.
Some example are that there no exposed electrical wiring / sockets, there is sufficient space between workstations, safety equipment like steel-mesh and gloves and facemask are available for use.
Sustainable Manufacturing Practices
We proudly hold GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification for our organic cotton supply chain and GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification for our recycled polyester production.
This dual certification ensures that whether you are seeking an organic cotton clothing manufacturer or a recycled polyester clothing manufacturer, you can trust that your products are made sustainably and responsibly from raw material to finished garment.
We also work with fabric mills that are GOTS, GRS & OEKO-TEX 100 certified which have been tested to be safe for human’s use and using organic manufacturing practices.
We use paper from FSC-certified producers for packaging boxes and hang tags.
This certification guarantees that our paper materials originate from responsibly managed forests, supporting sustainable forestry and ensuring every element of your garment is environmentally sound.
