How It All Started
Bryden was started in 2013 to help and serve independent fashion brands and large companies and e-commerce retailers with their sourcing and garment production requirements.
We handle the whole supply chain process from design & development,, sourcing for fabrics and trims, samples, bulk apparel production, packaging, quality control assessments to arranging delivery of the products.
Above all, we at Bryden look at each project as a partnership where quality and the fun of seeing creative ideas come to life are the most important.

I started in the e-commerce and fashion industry by starting my own t-shirt brand called Ardentees back in 2009 as I was intrigued by the whole idea of e-commerce and waking up to see emails of customers buying your products.
I always wanted to do something creative and felt that Ardentees will be a good medium for cool designers and artists to display their creativity and customers have an outlet to buy creative products.
I spent a year sourcing from different sources before I finally settle on a manufacturer who was able to produce the quality I wanted for my brand.
I sold off the company in 2013 and went to work for a few fashion / e-commerce startups like Zalora and Lift12 where I help to start their own private labels from ground up from creating the brands.
In my journey, I have set up & managed design and sourcing teams, sourced for factories and suppliers, setting up system & operations and coordinate the whole supply chain from sourcing to delivery.
What inspired me to start Bryden was when I realised that what I learnt and experienced in my journey will be very helpful to people who were like me when I first started my own brand.
My goal is help them solve the difficulties I faced in finding a good manufacturer and create better clothing brands.
My entrepreneur journey started with Wimdu, a company that provides travel accommodations.
Wimdu is part of Rocket Internet which is a leading global incubator and has already built some of the world’s most admired and largest internet businesses (including Zalando in Europe, Dafiti in Brazil, Groupon International).
Being part of a small team, we were able to reach to the top two revenue countries out of 8 countries.
I proceeded on with Rocket Internet’s next venture, Zalora, to lead the production team. The fast-paced environment and coordination was pretty extreme and the ability to hit the KPI every month was crucial.
With the limited management software that is available to us, I have created management software which is used across Malaysia and Singapore to solve some of the major hiccups.
During my time in Rocket, I came to realize the importance of forward thinking and processes to have an effective and productive environment.
Having gained experience in creating and refining processes and handling supply chain management, I have decided to set up Bryden with Donovan.
I believe that the hassle of managing the whole supply chain is taking a toll on many entrepreneurs and fashion brand owners.
We believe that by offering our services, they are able to focus more on sales and marketing to expand their brands.”
